“A few years ago, our home in Waterville, VT was under attack from Cluster Flies. To us, it seemed a plague of biblical proportions. Each year the cluster flies would return to settle on the exterior of our home and slowly work their way inside. Inside, their dive bomb flights around our heads were annoying and distracting from whatever we were doing. They would flit from window to window seeking the light and, if you were sitting in their path, they simply flew into you. This was no fun at all if you were trying to enjoy a peaceful evening dinner with friends! At last, we could take this no more! And so began the search for a solution to rid ourselves of this pest. Some Internet research told us that the cluster flies lay larva in the ground. This was great news! All we needed to do was to burn the lawn..!! It was at this time that we found Marcus Brown and The Eliminator Pest Control. Not only did he keep us from burning the lawn (a scorched earth policy) but he rid us of the cluster flies. That was about 4 years ago. Each year, we invite The Eliminator Pest Control to return in the Spring and Fall to treat the exterior of our home. Marcus said that this was not necessary and, at most, only a treatment in the Fall would be needed. But, we hate those flies so much that we are glad to have The Eliminator Pest Control return twice each year for regular maintenance. Oh. The flies.
